How to install Azure Data Studio

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Chocolatey you can install and update it with: choco install azure-data-studio
  4. Open Azure Data Studio once it finishes installing.
