How to install Power BI Report Builder

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Chocolatey you can install and update it with: choco install power-bi-report-builder
  4. Open Power BI Report Builder once it finishes installing.
